English: Wine and Juice Factory and Beer Factory were founded in 1925 and 1933 respectively. Pasteurized Milk Factory, yogurt, butter and cheese plants were opened. Ice Factory was able to produce 4 tonnes of ice daily.

The first zoo in Ankara was opened in the Atatürk Forest Farm. In 1933, they began to display some animals on a small garden behind the building of Farm Directorate.


Atatürk Orman Çiftliği Pastörize Süt Fabrikası, çalışanlar, 1939

1925’te Şarap ve Meyve Suları Fabrikası, 1933’te Bira Fabrikası kuruldu. Pastörize Süt Fabrikası, yoğurt, tereyağı, peynir imalathaneleri açıldı. Buz Fabrikası’nda günde dört ton buz üretiliyordu.

Kent içerisinde Atatürk Orman Çiftliği ürünlerinin Ankara halkına ulaşmasını sağlayan dükkânlar açıldı. Ankara’nın ilklerinden biri, Hayvanat Bahçesi de Atatürk Orman Çiftliği aracılığıyla gerçekleşmiştir. 1933’te Çiftlik Müdürlüğü binasının arkasında küçük bir bahçe içerisinde bazı hayvanların teşhirine başlanmıştı.
