If the uploader is not the author, then this does not automatically mean that the uploader is wrong to claim that these photos are BY licenced, as the author may have authorised that person to upload his photos under that licence. The uploader keeps up that claim under his own responsability and there is nothing to make us believe that he is wrong. --Otets 14:23, 7. Jun. 2011 (UTC)

Yes uploader may very well have a valid permission to upload the files and in that case the best would be to send the permission to us to archive it in case it will ever be needed. However, in some cases the author is "unknown" which makes it hard to get a permission from the author. --MGA73 18:35, 7. Jun. 2011 (UTC)

Cool. Then it should be ok - at least for the photos taken by Anne Pannrucker. But I still do not like the idea that photos with unknown photographers is uploaded. Unless ofcource they are PD-old. --MGA73 16:55, 6. Aug. 2011 (UTC)

I moved a file to Commons and started a DR to get more comments - see Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:ABJ Beaufort Bannen.JPG. Feel free to add further info. --MGA73 20:41, 29. Aug. 2011 (UTC)

The file was kept so I moved most of the other files to Commons also. I did not move one unused file and 3 with an unknown author. I think we should discuss those first. --MGA73 22:02, 9. Okt. 2011 (UTC)
