Moien,
Wat verstitt Dir ënner Sektiounen an de Gemengen? --81.244.108.30 08:46, 7. Sep. 2019 (UTC)
- Greetings. I don't speak nor understand Luxembourgish. But to what I'm trying to get is that when I typed "sections", I was referring to as groupings of villages or localities or hamlets from the former municipalities before the mergers. Hope that does make sense. Johnluisocasio (Diskussioun) 10:02, 7. Sep. 2019 (UTC)
- Ok I understand. But in this sense sections may bee correct for belgian former municipalities but not for luxemburgish. I will correct in the sense of your idea. --Les Meloures (Diskussioun) 10:07, 7. Sep. 2019 (UTC)
- I understand. However in that case, in regards to my idea, what would be the correct term of sub-division level instead of "sections"? So I can fix that in a moment. Because I was going to put like "Sub-Region" (as if it's a municipal regional area). Johnluisocasio (Diskussioun) 11:01, 7. Sep. 2019 (UTC)
- municipality is the lowest administrative level in Luxembourg, there exist cadastral sections but they are not an administrative sub-division level. --Pierrenilles (Diskussioun) 11:34, 7. Sep. 2019 (UTC)
- Then were can I find a list of all of those populated places (i.e. cadastral divisions/sections or localities or villages or hamlets or communities or neighborhoods or settlements) within each past & present municipality from its existence of inception of independence (i.e.: 1840s) to the present?
