Actually yes, according to a dictionary, Aegolius funereus is Luxembourgish for "Klenge Kazekapp", indeed. --Wolverène (Diskussioun) 18:41, 15. Nov. 2016 (UTC)[äntweren]
Vernacular bird names are sometimes a real mess in a language that, for centuries, has only been spoken but not scientifically 'normatized'. We agreed to stick here to an inventory of indigenous birds established by an ornithologist, and use the name he uses, helping to 'officialise' it bit. The list is at the base of the following article: Vigel zu Lëtzebuerg. This doesn't mean other names that might have been used here and there (so that they ended up in the LWB-dictionary) are 'wrong', it's just that probably the one chosen by Mssrs Lorgé/Melchior is the most common or most coherent.
